Great little refuge free of camp fees and wind. A nice touch. The bay is extremely shallow with lots of sea grass but okay for kayaks. Our camp was circled by a medium large black bear that came within 25 feet of our camp despite verbal scolding which means it was habituated. Our blue Heeler's bark was the only thing that scared it off. Don't camp wilderness areas without a firearm is my advise.
